May 2008
*Too Much of a Good Thing, a multicultural Brady Bunch, will
come out in February 2009, and another (The Interview--see below) should hit bookstores in 2010.
*Something Real has now gone into its sixth (!) printing and is now available in mass market paperback. It will also be available for
giveaways at women's fiction, romance, African American literature, and book club websites.
*Original Love has gone into its third printing and will be available in paperback on September 2, 2008.
*Since demand for the sold-out Renee and Jay 2 is still high, email me-->Get RJ2<--to get one of the electronic versions absolutely free. In your email, PLEASE specify whether
you prefer the .doc version (for Microsoft Word) or the .pdf version, which can be read as an e-book in the Adobe
Reader. Join the thousands of readers who have already read this "sober and thoughtful sequel" (The Roanoke
Times).
*I have finished The Interview (working title), which takes place in Ontario,
Canada, and Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY, and stars a journalist and a boxer. This will most likely be my 2010 title.
*My newest work-in-progress, Every Dog, is going well. I am in the painstaking
process of plotting and researching, something I call "the organic outline." My story evolves as I plot it, and it's
taking many twists and turns in southwest Virginia, South Carolina, upstate New York, Afghanistan, and
the Appalachian Trail. I hope to have Every Dog finished this summer.
